Cushions
The strong fabric can withstand a rain shower, and the covers can be unzipped and washed. Convenient — but take note: the cushions are water-repellent, not waterproof. If left in the rain for a long time, moisture can still seep into the inner filling.

5-Year Warranty
All 4 Seasons Outdoor products come with a 5-year warranty, with the exception of protective covers and maintenance products.

Aluminium
Aluminium is very low-maintenance and lightweight, just like our wickerwork. These practical furniture pieces are easy to clean. Our aluminium with a durable powder coating is weather-resistant and protected against UV radiation. Aluminium does not rust, is timeless and stylish.

Rope
This beautiful material is perfect for outdoor use, because Taste Rope is not just any ordinary shoelace-like cord. Taste uses extremely high-quality rope made from 100% SDP (Solution Dyed Polypropylene). This material is extremely strong and has very little stretch. Polypropylene is oil-based, which means dirt and contaminants can barely penetrate it — just like with our cushions. Taste offers exclusive designs that make use of hand-woven rope patterns and techniques.

Ceramic
This material has been used for decades as flooring, bathroom finishes and in luxury (outdoor) swimming pools. Not without reason: ceramic is known for its exceptional hardness. Its beautiful appearance makes it highly distinctive and sought-after. Ceramic is a mixture of natural materials comparable to clay. It is baked at very high temperatures, creating a lightweight yet extremely strong material that is highly scratch-resistant and can withstand extreme temperatures.
As mentioned, ceramic has several unique properties that offer major advantages for outdoor use. Heat and cold pose no issue for ceramic, so garden tables can simply stay outside all year long. For normal dirt, simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Stains can be removed with lukewarm water and gentle soap, and limescale can be treated with natural vinegar. Never use abrasive cleaners such as sandpaper, or aggressive products like acids or harsh chemicals. If such substances are spilled, remove them immediately to prevent irreversible damage.
Important: We strongly advise against cleaning your ceramic garden furniture with a high-pressure cleaner or aggressive cleaning/bleach products. We also recommend not covering your ceramic furniture for long periods, and not placing decoration or objects on it for extended durations, as this may cause permanent stains or discoloration. Always be careful with fire, oils, grease and hot objects to avoid permanent damage.

Olefin Cushions
Olefin cushions feel comfortable — almost like the couch or chairs indoors. This is because nearly all our cushions have a cover made from Olefin fabric. This material has many unique properties. Olefin is oil-based, and the colour pigment is added at an early stage so it is embedded deep within the fibres. This makes the fabric extremely colourfast, UV-resistant and water-repellent. Olefin is also commonly used in technical sportswear and the automotive industry.

Maintenance of Olefin Cushions
You do not need to treat or maintain our weather-resistant cushions with chemicals. However, it is important to keep your outdoor cushions clean. Prevent rotting leaves from damaging the fabric, and remove bird droppings promptly to avoid stains.
Garden furniture is meant to be enjoyed throughout all four seasons, but that does not mean zero care is required. Weather effects are covered by warranty, but stains or user damage are not. Use your garden furniture responsibly by using a protective cover and/or storing your cushions when they are not in use for longer periods.

Use of Olefin Cushions
Almost all cushion covers have zippers and can be washed at 30°C without adding detergent. You may iron and tumble-dry at a low temperature. Over time, the cushions of your lounge set or garden chairs may show signs of wear. The filling may become slightly thinner, and the fabric may feel different after extended use. These effects are normal, as all furniture eventually shows wear through frequent use.
In most cases, replacement cushion covers and fillings can be ordered. Contact your retailer for information about available options.

Sustainable Teak
Teak is a natural product and particularly suitable for outdoor use. It is resistant to pests and mold and can withstand sun, rain, and snow. Over time, teak develops a silver-gray patina. Teak is a robust material and requires little maintenance. If you prefer the original color of your teak, you can easily prevent it from turning gray by regularly using our care product. You can also clean teak with green soap. We offer a warranty on all manufacturing and construction defects. This does not cover the working of teak. If you choose teak, we expect you to appreciate these qualities. Hairline cracks that may develop, knots in the teak, and rough surfaces or irregular discoloration over time are not covered by our warranty. These characteristics, which give teak its unique character and appearance, are part of its natural properties. Be careful with a flowerpot or vase on your teak garden table, as this can cause persistent rings or color variations. Imperfections are common; these imperfections are characteristic of this product. These irregularities can never give rise to a claim, warranty, or complaint. This is a mark of originality!

Mortex
Mortex is made from a mixture of lime, cement, and fine mineral powders. Pigments and resins are added to this mixture to make it flexible, waterproof, and adhere well. It is applied by hand in thin layers and then sanded and finished with a protective sealer or wax. This creates a seamless, strong, and stylish surface suitable for furniture, floors, and walls, among other things. A Mortex garden table is weatherproof. Rain, sunlight, and temperature fluctuations have little effect on the material, provided the table is properly finished with a protective layer. It is important to be careful with acidic substances such as lemon juice, vinegar, or wine. If these remain on the surface for too long, they can damage the protective layer and cause stains.

Maintenance of mortex
For daily maintenance, simply clean the table with a soft cloth or sponge and lukewarm water. Preferably use a mild, pH-neutral soap such as green soap or a natural cleaning soap. Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaning agents, as they can damage the finish.
